Ways You Can Volunteer
Comfortable and Supportive Volunteer Experience with SPE
In this volunteer programme, we prioritise the comfort and well-being of our volunteers. We provide comfortable homestay or volunteer house accommodation that includes self-contained amenities such as hot showers, secure fencing, and a security guard. Our accommodation is accessible to town, and we provide shared rooms with bed sheets and blankets.
In addition, we offer a variety of meals, including vegetarian, vegan, and accommodating dietary restrictions. We generate a timetable to ensure a balanced diet and provide fruits every day. Our housekeeping/cook is available to take care of meals. We also provide personalised healthcare and safe private accommodation that includes internet connectivity and weekly laundry services.
To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience, we offer airport pick-up within our programme locations and provide transportation to the placement institution daily for five days a week. Our in-country support includes our head office teams in your placement locations, and detailed pre-departure support for your convenience.

VOLUNTEER POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Upon registering your interest to volunteer with SPE, we will send over a copy of our volunteer policies and procedures. It is important for us to ensure that all our volunteers are aware of the guidelines and expectations we have in place to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone involved. The policies and procedures cover important areas such as recruitment, orientation, training, safety, and confidentiality. We want our volunteers to feel prepared and informed before they begin their work with us.
